The album recording sessions lasted a few days, and several songs were written and arranged directly in the studio. The result is a little pop/rock gem with psychedelic and sometimes progressive hints, without any follow-up and whose genesis still remains partly mysterious even today.

The presence of Battiato and the fact that it has never been re-released on vinyl have made "Area di Servizio" a cult album practically impossible to find, which is now re-released as a faithful reproduction of the original copy with the addition of a beautiful collector's item: a 1:1 reproduction of the original 1972 70x100cm promotional poster! SELLING POINTS: - FIRST EVER VINYL REISSUE! - INCLUDES REPRODUCTION OF ORIGINAL 70x100cm PROMO POSTER!!! - Clear red vinyl edition / Record Store Day 2022 exclusive!

Format / LP
Released / 04/23/2022
Catalogue / BTFS-236
Barcode / 8016158024647
Artist / Genco Puro & Co.
Label / BTF
Genre / Pop / Rock
